From May 5th to 11th, 2025, we had the opportunity to take part in the training course “Green Thinking: Changing Habits, Shaping Our Future”, held in the beautiful town of Bansko, Bulgaria. This inspiring week-long experience brought together participants from different countries to explore the theme of sustainability, encouraging us to reflect on our personal habits and their impact on the planet.
The training began with team-building activities that helped us connect and build trust as a group. Once we established that foundation, we dove into meaningful discussions around environmental awareness. We explored what it truly means to live sustainably and what actions each of us can take to contribute to a greener future.
One of the most memorable moments for many of us was discovering how many Earths we would need if everyone lived the same way we do. This eye-opening exercise left a lasting impression and sparked deep conversations about consumption, responsibility, and change.
Throughout the course, we worked in teams to explore ecological practices in different countries, sharing challenges and innovative solutions from our communities. In addition to the main topic, we also participated in a useful session on Erasmus+ opportunities, which opened our eyes to new possibilities for learning and engagement across Europe.
The week was not only educational but also transformative. We returned home with new knowledge, a stronger sense of responsibility, and a deep motivation to adopt and promote greener habits in our daily lives.
This experience reminded us that real change starts with small, mindful actions—and together, we can shape a more sustainable future.
